Regarding changing passwords on my computer, How can I change a password, if I don't know the original word?

I had my comp worked on, recently, and there is a window that is suggesting that this particular password will expire in about 5 days. I don't know the original password, to change the password. Any ideas? |||A user with Administrator rights can reset a password without having to know the original password.
