How can I change a group owner if I no longer have the password for the original owner?

Here are the facts...


The only group owner we had passed away a year ago. We didn麓t had a group co-owner at the time. So now were stuck with the group as he left it before his final journey.





We need to change the group owner because we need to ban some members from the group. And has you know, it cant be done unless you own the group...





We urge to solve this!! Any answers will be strongly appreciated...

Gerald-TOI|||I know this isn't what you're going to want to hear. But there is no way to change the owner.


The owner is the only one who can pass the group to another.





Most commonly the advice given is to get copies of all the files, calendar entries, and photos, and simply start a new group. =(
